Edtech unicorn upGrad is poised to acquire Australia-based edtech startup Global Study Partners (GSP).
upGrad will invest $ 16 million to purchase 100% of GSP and provide an additional $ 10 million for future growth, the company said in a press release. It added that GSP is expected to close its current financials at a GMV of over $ 10 million, which will quadruple in the coming year.
GSP was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Sydney. GSP has a network of over 600 institutions, mainly in major western destination countries such as Australia, the UK, Canada and the USA.
