AVIOM India Housing Finance, a micro mortgage housing finance company, raised $ 8 million in its Saber Partners-led Series C Round.
According to AVIOM, the funds will be used to expand presence and business growth.
AVIOM was founded in 2016 by Kajal Ilmi and is aimed at low-income households in rural and semi-urban areas. It makes loans to female borrowers who do not have formal proof of income. The company’s loan ticket size ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh with an average payout of around Rs 3 lakh.
