Vahan, job and livelihood platform for workers, raised $ 8 million in its Series A round led by Silicon Valley’s Khosla Ventures. Airtel, SHAKTI VC, Pioneer Fund, Spike Ventures, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Guru Gowrappan, Kevin Shannon and others have also joined the round.
According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the fresh capital will be used to expand its recruiting business and develop new product offerings for its customers.
Founded by Madhav Krishna and Mohammed Abdoolcarim, Vahan helps workers find a job and helps employers find the right candidate at the right price.
