Venture capital firm Jungle Ventures raised $ 225 million on the first close of its fourth fund to invest in startups in Southeast Asia and India. Fund IV began sourcing in mid-May and is targeting a total of $ 350 million.
The majority of limited partners are returning from previous funds, including Temasek Holdings, IFC, DEG, as well as Asian and global family offices.
According to the Singapore-based firm, Fund IV will write checks worth approximately $ 1 million to $ 15 million for Series B rounds and participate in subsequent rounds.
