Financing in Indian startups this week (06.09.-11.09.)

This week, 47 Indian startups raised funding, 41 of which received a total of $ 767 million. Cars24 raised about $ 258.6 million, followed by Byju’s, which raised $ 150 million.

In the meantime, the financing of six of the total startups funded remained secret.

Byyus: Edtech company Byju’s is continuing its fundraising campaign and has raised around $ 150 million from three investors. The new fund came at a time when the Bengaluru-based company is reportedly in talks with multiple investors to raise $ 1.5 billion on a valuation of over $ 21 billion.

Delhivery: Delhivery, the logistics unicorn raised $ 76.4 million in funding for Addition, the company founded by high-profile startup investor Lee Fixel.

Autos24: Cars24 has developed as a leader in the used car sector and is made more evident by the size of the company, the global ambitions and its new round. The Gurugram-based company raised $ 258.6 million from eight investors.

Open minded: The neobanking platform Open has raised around 62 million US dollars in what appears to be a Series C round from Temasek, Google and existing investors such as Tiger Global Management and 3one4 Capital.

Jump funding: Leap Finance, a fintech platform for Indian college students studying overseas, has raised $ 55 million in its C Series, led by Owl Ventures. This marks the second fundraiser for the Bengaluru-based startup in 2021 that has been scooped $ 17 million Series B in March.

Dukaan: Dukaan, an e-commerce enablement platform, has raised $ 11 million in its Pre-Series A round led by 640 Oxford Ventures. The fresh funds came almost a year after a $ 6 million seed round for the Bengaluru-based startup.

CollegeDekho: Gurugram based CollegeDekho, a platform for college admissions and educational services, has raised $ 26.5 million (Rs 200 crore) in an “ongoing and oversubscribed” Series B funding round.

WeRize: WeRize, a small town financial services platform, raised $ 8 million in its Series A round led by 3one4 Capital, Picus Capital, Kalaari Capital and Orios Ventures.

Zeotap: Bengaluru and Germany-based Zeotap, the next-generation customer data platform, has announced that it will extend its Series C funding round by $ 11 million.

immuntoAI: immuntoAI, a biotech startup developing an AI-powered antibody discovery and screening platform, announced Wednesday that it has raised $ 1 million in a seed-led round Pi ventures, with existing investor Entrepreneur First also participate.

SpielEon: Mumbai Angels Network, a world-class early stage venture investment startup investment platform, announced Thursday that it has invested $ 0.32 million in GameEon Studios, one of the newest players in the fast-growing gaming space.

Wave curve: Wellcurve, the online nutritional products platform, raised $ 600,000 or $ 0.6 million in its seed round led by 9 Harvard alumni under the Harvard President Management Program.

Mega: Skill-based real-money gaming startup GetMega raised $ 15 million in its Series B round from Nexus Ventures, Accel India and the Hashed Venture Fund. The Bengaluru-based startup had previously raised $ 9 million from Nexus Ventures and Accel India in its Angel and Series A rounds.

Proeon: Pune-based food ingredients startup Proeon raised $ 2.4 million in a seed funding round led by Shaival Desai, involving Flowstate Ventures, Peak Sustainability Venture Fund I, and others.

Vidyakul: Vernacular edtech platform Vidyakul raised $ 500,000 in a bridge round led by We Founder Circle (WFC). $ 0.5 million. JITO Angel Network and Thinkuvate also took part in the round.

Goodmylk: The Bengaluru-based food tech startup GoodMylk has raised $ 1 million from a group of domestic and foreign angel investors in a seed round expansion.

Flipspaces: Interior design tech startup Flipspaces raised $ 2 million in its pre-series B round led by a consortium led by Prashasta Seth, ex-CEO of IIFL AMC. Family groups and high net worth individuals (HNIs) have also joined the group.

Fleek: Fleek, a subscription management platform, raised $ 1 million in its Axilor-led seed round. RTP Global Ventures, Titan Capital and 9Unicorns Accelerator as well as angel investor Ramakant Sharma and his syndicate also participated.

Trill bit: Boston deep-tech startup Trill bit, based in Bengaluru, raised $ 1.5 million in its seed fund round from Chennai-based early-stage venture fund Refex Capital and early-stage venture capital firm Good Growth Capital (GGC).

TechEagle: TechEagle, a drone delivery startup, raised $ 500,000, or $ 0.5 million, in its seed round led by India Accelerator. The Vinners Group, Sitics Logistics and other marquee angel investors also took part in the round.

Voxel grid: Zoho Corp. has invested $ 5 million in a 25 percent stake in Voxelgrids, a Bengaluru-based startup that makes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.

COGOS: Corporate logistics start-up COGOS Technologies based in Bengaluru raised $ 2 Millions in the pre-series A Financing round led by Transworld Group, a global logistics and freight forwarding company.

Gigforce: Gigforce, the tech-driven human resource startup focused on gig workers, said Tuesday it raised $ 3 million in the Endiya Partners-led Pre-Series A round in which it participated existing investor Unitus Ventures and Key Angels.

NeuroPixel.AI: Deeptech SaaS startup focused on apparel cataloging raised NeuroPixel.AI $ 825,000 or $ 0.8 million in its seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. Entrepreneur First, Huddle, Dexter Angels and Rishaad Currimjee also took part in the round.

Intello Labs: Intello Labs, an agricultural technology startup focused on artificial intelligence, raised $ 37.3 billion in a round led by Avaana Capital Fintrackrs Estimates.

Clever Harvey: Clever Harvey, a career discovery platform focused on teenagers, said it secured $ 1.5 million (Rs.11.03 billion) in a round of funding led by TechNova Ventures prior to Series A.
