Edtech startup Orphicy bags Rs 2.5 Cr from NRI-Techies

Orphicy, an edtech startup, has raised Rs.2.5 million, or $ 331,000, from NRI tech enthusiasts currently in leadership positions at Facebook, McKinsey, at a valuation of Rs.25 billion. IMS Learning Resources also acquired a 1% stake in the company.

The first round of funding will be used to strengthen its marketing initiatives, add innovative technology-enabled interfaces and add newer modules to the curriculum, Orphicy said in a press release.

Founded by Vipul Tyagi, Orphicy offers educational modules using visualization methods, live interactions, analytics and psychometric analysis to get the results you want.
