D2C kitchenware startup Indus Valley raises around $ 1.1 million

The Industal, a D2C kitchenware startup, has raised $ 1.1 million in a new round led by Rukam Capital, DSG Consumer Partners and The Chennai Angels. The Lead Angel Network and the Calega Family Office Investors Group also took part in the round.

The financing proceeds will be used to expand its product portfolio, strengthen its team and expand its presence worldwide, The Industal said in a press release.

The Industal was founded in 2016 by Jagadeesh Kumar and Madhumitha Udaykumar and offers 100% natural, non-toxic kitchen ware as an alternative to chemically coated products.
